A&M-Commerce Future Educators Attend State Conference

A&M-Commerce chapter of Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) attended the TAFE Teach Tomorrow Summit in Round Rock, Texas, March 2-4. TAFE is a statewide co-curricular career and technical student organization allowing future educators to explore the teaching profession.

的 conference allowed TAFE members to meet others from around the state who share similar interests. Attendees also gained understanding of what it takes to be a successful college student and explored the skills necessary to be a successful educator.

A&M-Commerce student D'Andre Harrison competed in the Educators Rising competition to advance to the national round in June. In addition, five high school seniors committed at the event to attend A&M-Commerce in fall.
